The angle of the rotating nighttime beacon beam was adjusted upward on Thursday, March 13th. The effect of this should be to eliminate the direct glare for immediate neighbors of the airport and reduce the overall reflected light of the beacon when seen from the ground. We hope this adjustment makes our new, FAA-compliant beacon a less intrusive member of the Lopez community.
